This is the epic masterpiece Sun City Girls always wanted to make. The influence of world music is so common on this album, that you often forget that this is a group of people from Seattle making this music and not from the dark woods of Indonesia. Heavy use of drone, gamelan and high-pitched vocals make this album pretty Asian.I have to warn you about the length of this piece of music: its 2,1 hours will throw you back. But perhaps it's best to listen to this album in steps and explore it songwise, and not albumwise. There are some truly gems hidden on this album and your task is to find them.
