Mayo Thompson - Corky's Debt To His Father (1970)

Today is Red Krayola-day. The Red Krayola was and is an avant-garde collective led by Mayo Thompson and they were, together with Captain Beefheart, the best experimental rock band in the late 60s. Mayo Thompson is one of the greatest composers in the rock music scene and nobody talks about them nowadays. It is a bloody shame that people don't listen to their debut album anymore.

This album, the only album Mayo Thompson released under his own name, is a mix between Syd Barrett, Jandek and Bob Dylan. Someone called it: Bob Dylan for intelligent people. So, there's no time to lose!
