Keith Hudson - Flesh of My Skin: Blood of My Blood (1975)

And as we sink deeper and deeper in the rooty territories of reggae and dub, we find Keith Hudson (The Dark Prince of Reggae) on our way, who created an album back in '75 that relies firmly on its deep bass grooves. Flesh of My Skin is definitely one of the most groovy and deep reggae records I own on vinyl, and it is a pleasure to hear this on vinyl, with all the lazy bass riffs.

The best dub releases, that were released later in the 70s owe a lot to Keith Hudson, for that matter. He went to school with Bob Marley, Delroy Wilson and Ken Boothe. He died of lung cancer in 1984, a few years after Bob Marley himself. Keith Hudson owns Marley big time by the way.
