Mount Kimbie's Maybes is one of the best and most original dubstep releases that I've ever heard. I'm not a huge fan or expert of the genre, but this hits the nail on the head. The title song Maybes is this very original take on dubstep with a larger-than-life Fuck Buttons intro but with a much more exciting pay-off than you expect. The drone does very well beside the dubstep and I'd like more records to sound like this.This little EP gives you a very refreshing listen and I can tell you that dubstep isn't dead yet. Not everything sounds like the shite they make in England at the moment. Here's some evidence. Yes, from England.
