The Mighty Diamonds - Right Time (1976)

The Mighty Diamonds made a fuckload of albums, but Right Time is pretty much the only one that has lasted over the years. This album is a real roots reggae classic. Just so you know. This album has all the great reggae ingredients and what it adds to the recipe are the harmonic vocals. And of course a lot of socially conscious lyrics. All the usual topics are present: Marcus Garvey, poverty, being black, but still, this album has something extra for me.

I don't know what it is. It might just be the great songs. So check out this belter of an album and love it the rest of your long life. Isn't it great art work by the way?
