Lee Hazlewood - Requiem For An Almost Lady (1971)

A lot of people downloaded Cowboy In Sweden by Lee Hazlewood, so I'm posting another album by one of my most precious heroes in the music field. He made this album a year later than Cowboy In Sweden, when he was still in Sweden. It lasts only for 25 minutes, which is a shame, because the album has the same fantastic songs Cowboy In Sweden has.

This LP is a sad and moving drama about love and loneliness, and the whole album is built up around the concept of loathing and regret for letting a specific woman go. Beautiful. And also very intriguing that it came out in 1971 in Sweden, and was first distributed worldwide in 1999.

won't you tell your dreams
