This record owns it classic status for its opener Search And Destroy to me. Absolutely incredible song, to which I actually cried this morning. I was riding my bike and the raw power (pun intended) of that song was just to much for me at that moment. The song literally blows you away. 7 more songs of raw power, and there you have it: a proto-punk classic of epic proportions.The record's mixing is awfully done, and that's exactly what makes it even more impressive. You have to hear this album fuckin' loud. It will always sound like coming out of an old car speaker anyway. When this was recorded, all the dials were severely in the red zone and you can definitely hear that. I actually like it.
