He does it even more subtle than Marvin Gaye. Marvin Gaye made the better and more important albums, but Al Green purified the 70's soul.All the songs are heartbreakers and you definitely can be sure that Al Green means what he sings. This is far from all the modern rock stars singing about U2-topics: Al Green sings about being miserable, and I find that beautiful. Because I realise I'm listening to an album that's made not for money, but for therapy.
