Yeah, we all know how great Pere Ubu is. The Modern Dance is basically the only musical piece from the seventies which really reminds me of Trout Mask Replica (my favourite album of all time). But what else did they make except The Modern Dance and Dub Housing? Well, they made another 20 fantastic albums after that. And this is their third album.And how I love it, they still sound so fragmented and menacing as on the best moments of The Modern Dance. David Thomas may be the best frontman nobody has heard of. They are still performing as well, so I advice you to go to a Pere Ubu-concert when you have the chance!
