And this is the debut album by the Butthole Surfers, where they were still being quite serious about their music and making epic songs. These 11 songs are probably their artistical high-point. After this it all became more sarcastic, more trashy and especially less epic. Still, albums like Hairway to Steven and Locust Abortion Technician are essential listens when you want to understand this band, but this is the real deal.butthole surfer
